Buff in your buffing compound with a rotary polisher that is set to the lowest speed. Apply a slight amount of pressure so that you don’t damage your plexiglass. Use your polisher until you can’t see the layer of buffing compound on top of the plexiglass anymore. This usually takes 2 to 3 minutes.

While rosin paper can't match the impact and puncture protection of hardboard, two or three layers of it provide good defense against scratches and spills. Sand the plexiglass to remove deep scratches or markings. Sand the acrylic just like you would with a piece of wood, by hand or with a sander. Work your way across the surface with a more coarse sandpaper and moving on to a finer sandpaper. Do not press the sander onto the plexiglass with any force; be gentle and keep the sander moving at all
We recommend removing it just before you are ready to use your acrylic item. To remove, start in a corner or along the edge with your fingernail until you get enough of the film ruffled to grab and pull the film off the front of your acrylic. Sometimes it can be difficult to get started but once you get enough to grab it will just peel right

Repeat as necessary. If this leaves residue along the edge of the decal, clean that in a similar fashion, but being very meticulous not to allow anything to go off the edge. Move parallel to the edge, going just next to it. If any material, including softened residue, gets onto the seam of the decal, wipe it immediately.
