I have a similar issue with a 2012 Passat TDI. We recently purchased it second hand and have had the Low AdBlue warning light come on twice. I checked the level, even topped it up and still having issues. The first time I had the issue, the warning went away after having the key in the ignition for 40 seconds or so without starting the car. For the fun of it, I went through the adblue reset process by turning the ignition on but not starting the engine for the allotted time. All warnings remain.
