@Ektro: Do you talk about the glass or the light source itself? For the latter, there should actually be an amber variant (see for example the mod images, variant on the far right). Fr the glass, the official versions from Strands are clear glass, yellow glass (Limited Edition) and dark tinted glass (Dark Edition).
Is there a way to edit or a mod that makes the AI turn on the lights way earlier before it gets dark? Like at the start of the sunset. The way the AI lights work is very unrealistic and unsafe. I know there are some countries that lights on is mandatory, but in other places that doesn't happen. I just want them to turn on the lights when it's raining (always), when is getting dark (and not
It was a MAN and interior (mod) truck that was affecting all other MAN trucks. It can also be dashboard lighting mods, interior mods. Just disable one at a time and try. You can also try going back down auto/manual saves and loading an earlier one. Prior to a mod loaded.
To turn off the police feature: Find your profile folder C:\Users\\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profile\\ ["C:\Users\\Documents\" is the same folder as "My Documents" for the current user] Go to your profile folder. Open the config.cfg file with a plain text editor (like Notepad) Change the line: uset g_police
Driving with lights on is required in most EU countries 24/7. You can get a ticket if you don't obey that rule in real life too. There is no fines for running them in countries that don't require em, so just keep them on, as most of us do anyway. AI running into you is either your fault or your fault.
The lights in the game, like many intersections in real life, are on a timer. You are just having the bad luck of hitting them on red. This is not an oversight. Having them always change to green as you approach would be completely unrealistic. ;) In real life, if traffic lights work correctly.
gAGX. Ive noticed that the in-cab window decorations can light up the cab a bit orange if you have the Raven DLC. Backboard mainly. Theres a lot of whole truck mods that have interior lights. RJL Scania i think does, MADster's MANs do, I think Ohaha's Volvo FH does. For the MAN TGX Euro6 mod at least i think it is toggled by the beacon switch
When driving around in full daylight and sunny, I see some AI drivers having their lights on, while others have them off. Is this just a random thing added by the developers for flavor, to simulate how real drivers behave, or am I missing something? Should I turn on my lights at this point, or not? Thank you.
So the first thing I want you to do, is ensure that Steam isn't hijacking your inputs. Library > ETS2 > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input. Relaunch game. Hazard lights may automatically turned ON if you activate the new experimental emergency brake feature.
