Re: Sat Nav MMI not working. I had that problem yesterday. I had fixed a fault with my mmi system but satnav showed me as 30 miles away. You can either have a look and see in the settings if you are in demo mode or like my problem have a look at the back of the dvd drive in the boot.

enMD1d. Scroll down to Start download position and confirm the update. This will take up to 40 minutes. When the update is done you will see update status. Scroll down to Restart MMI and press it. System will reboot and go back to normal operation mode. Take out first MMI 2G software update CD from the CD changer.

Truthfully I find modern smartphone satnavs far better than any normal satnav and they are updated regularly and for free! Sorry we can't help more.
